When Things Go Wrong They're Happening For You, Not To You.๐ง๐พ
Take this as a sign to keep going.๐ง๐พ
Hi friends,
I came across something that changed my view towards setbacks and I thought of sharing it with you today.
It goes like this:
โ When things go wrong, they're happening for you and not to you. You're being prepared not punished. โ ~ Leo Skepi
With life being chaotic and having more responsibilitiesโฆ hearing this was such a relief.
Yes sometimes you may not be able to clearly see what it is you're being prepared for or how something going โwrongโ is specifically for you, but there's always a lesson to be learned from every situation.
If you fail to learn from it, you will continue to be presented with situations that will teach you the same lesson.
And remember, the dots connect backwards. You'll only be able to clearly see once you're out of the fog and ahead of where you are now.
So keep this in mind when you ask for something or if something out of the blues goes wrong.
You're simply being prepared for the new version of you that can handle whatever it is you're going through.
"If someone prays for patience, do you think God gives them patience? Or does He give them the opportunity to be patient? If they prayed for courage, does God give them courage, or does He give them opportunities to be courageous?โ
~ Morgan Freeman in Evan Almighty
Don't ever think you're being punished or it's a sign for you to give up. Your answers will be found through the situation, not away from it.
Feeling any negative emotions are valid, no one likes to go through hardships, but just remember as you go through it, that what comes after is 10 times better. That should give you some hope.
That's it for today on the Sunday Reset . I hope you have a lovely week ahead of you! Continue making your dreams come true one step at a time and remember to be happy and have fun doing it. Happiness is a choice.
See you next Sunday!
