Hi friends,
Here's a quick update about this past week:
I managed to plan 3 youtube videos and uploaded 1 of those 3.
I had a couple of business owners interested in what I have to offer and I hope to actually end up working with a few.
I interacted with someone doing something similar to what I'm doing ( except he runs facebook ads while I do content ) and we're thinking of working on a few projects together. He's ahead of me in terms of work experience so I expect to learn a lot from him.
Those are a couple of wins to keep me going.
But I did struggle with quite a lot this week. Things like:
Having to force myself to do what needs to be done even when I don't want to. The whole week was such a drag. I wasn't particularly motivated to do anything, I just couldn't be bothered. But I'm glad I kept going.
My sleep schedule being horrible. I can barely sleep at night, I usually sleep past 4:30 am and that would make me slow and tired throughout the day.
A lot of people being interested in what I have to offer but not being able turn them into clients due to their finances or not being convinced enough that it's worth the investment.
Not having much time during the day because of my sleep schedule so I don't end up doing everything I intend to do. Which pushes things to later.
Unexpected events that derail my days and I’m finding it hard to get back on track.
Finding it hard to stick to my study timetable.
Overall, it's been a good week.
I’ve made quite a lot of progress and it's getting easier to just do what needs to be done even when I don't want to.
Knowing what I have to be doing and what will happen if I don't work on them helps me stay on track.
It also helps to start getting ready even though I'm not ready for the bigger task at hand.
Example :
If I need to start replying to potential clients or record a video, but I've been on my phone or laying down not doing anything… I simply get up, do my workouts, take a bath and dress for the occasion. Then it gets much easier to follow through.
This week I want to focus on :
Fixing my sleep schedule so I can have more time throughout my day.
Studying for my exams ( they start next week )
Working on optimizing my whole day for maximum productivity.
